This course will teach you the role and responsibilities of a warden. It will also give you practical knowledge to assist you to keep effective control of the situation and ensure the safety of people in the workplace in the event of an emergency.
It covers different types of emergencies, raising the alarm, who to contact in emergency situations, implementing evacuation procedures, handling emergency control equipment, effectively controlling the situation and maintaining calm, decision making and communication in the event of an emergency.
The course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to implement the emergency response specified in the workplace emergency procedures and implement emergency prevention procedures within a workplace.
